Why it matters: Across the world, the challenges we face are deeply interconnected. Jobs and equity shape the social contract; public finance and budgets determine what governments can deliver; forests anchor climate stability and livelihoods; and the way we manage debt and climate finance can either unlock or constrain progress.
When forests disappear, local communities lose jobs, economies lose natural capital and become more vulnerable to disasters, and countries face higher fiscal risks from climate shocks. When budgets are strained, investment in equity and opportunity falls short, leaving social divides unaddressed. And when debt burdens grow, the fiscal space to invest in the future disappears.
Solving any of these issues in isolation is not enough. We need solutions that work across systems — where economic growth sustains people and nature, where fiscal policy protects the poorest and the climate, and where environmental action drives shared prosperity.
This is the space where I work: connecting evidence to policy, linking jobs, equity, climate and fiscal stability, and promoting action that can turn complex challenges into achievable results. Reach out to me if you want to know more or partner for action.
